Inside (a poem about shadows)

Day again turns to night
I again ly alone
My once lit room
Slowly fades to nothing

I reach for my light
Now, shadows only shown
Hand puppets of doom
My thoughts darkly sing

The end is in sight
Ive always known
Since my mothers womb
I still wear the ring

Shadows reflect my fright
Shadow dog needs a bone
Roaring dinsosaurs loom
Cries flow through my being
